When the dreams can practically come true... Let me take you on a ride of my vision. Today, if I disclose my GMAT score to you, immidiately you know how SMART I am. Imagine if there was a way you could know how GOOD I am. Envison a future where every individual can measure the amount of good deeds done by anyone anywhere in the world just like the GMAT Score. I am talking about the NPU - the non profit unit, a standardized, recognized unit accross the world to define the GOOD an individual has acted on by himself/herself. No - this does not mean donating money. A small example could be a planting a tree, fixing a pot hole, teaching a poor child etc."
"How will this work? Standards like a school having a basic requirement to gain say 1000 NPU's to graduate, a University having a 20000 NPU requirement, an office requiring 50000 NPU's along with 5 year job experiance."
"Who provides a stamp for an NPU? A registered government body with clear and known definitions of what would define a NPU, transparent to the world. Big Picture? We all know its human nature to be greedy. With the NPU's implemented in the most important part of our lives, every individual will be competing to do good. The competitive nature of man, the most basic human greed will work to create a better world. In a day, this world can change if everyone everywhere is working and competing to get a NPU.
